What data Clokit collects

Clokit does not collect any personal information. All data you create within the app — including time entries, activity categories, and notes — is stored locally on your device and never leaves your device.

Data we never access

We have no access to the following, and no mechanism to receive it:

• Your time entries or activity records
• Your name, email address, or any account information
• Your location
• Any files or data from your device

Apple Analytics

Clokit is distributed through the Apple App Store. If you have opted in to share analytics with Apple (a setting you control in System Settings), Apple may collect aggregate, anonymised usage data and share a summary with us through App Store Connect.

This data is provided by Apple, is not linked to your identity, and is used solely to understand how the app is being used in general so we can improve it. We do not have access to any data that identifies you personally through this process.

You can manage your analytics sharing preferences at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Third-party services

Clokit does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or crash reporting services. The only external party involved in distribution is Apple, through the Apple App Store.

Data retention

Because we collect no data, there is nothing to retain or delete on our end. Your local app data can be removed at any time by uninstalling Clokit from your device, or by applying the data retention settings within the app.

Children's privacy

Clokit does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. As no data is collected at all, the app is safe for all ages in this respect.

AI Insights

AI Insights within the Mac/iOS/iPadOS app are processed entirely by Apple Intelligence on your device. Clokit.app cannot access any AI Insights generated by the Clokit app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in any meaningful way — for example if a future version of Clokit introduces optional cloud features — the updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised date, and the change will be noted in the relevant release notes.
